Robert Kagan is hardly the only neocon fascist shilling for Hillary. A growing multitude of Bush-Cheney national security and foreign "experts" are locked and loaded for the Russian bear as well. Some of the more prominent names are Michael Hayden who despite heading up the NSA before and during 9/11 was not only never held accountable for the failure to detect the plot, but went on to lead the CIA and is a cherished figure on the media propaganda circuit. Michael Chertoff, Bush's former Homeland Security Chief who became a lobbyist for those naked body scanners is also likely looking to pass back through the revolving door after the Clinton restoration. The list is long and getting longer as the election draws closer.
On the fifteenth anniversary of 9/11 it would seem that our national doom has already been sealed with establishment moving in unison to put Hillary into the White House. The media and the Democrats have banished every relevant issue from the election with the exception of red-baiting and banging the war drums. Even the Department of Homeland Security is getting in on the game with Obama's stooge Jeh Johnson floating the idea that DHS may act to declare the election itself as "critical infrastructure" to prevent the "Russians" from hacking the system and keeping Hillary from her rightful place upon the throne.
If there is one positive though it is that Mrs. Clinton is coming unglued at a frightening pace as she brays at Russian phantoms and appears badly in need of a long vacation in a padded cell. Her big bounce in the polls has begun to evaporate as she embraces conspiracy theories and raw demagoguery of a dark, apocalyptic era that was thought to have fallen along with the Berlin Wall. She also may have just had her Mitt Romney 47 percent moment by calling millions of Americans who support Trump as "a basket of deplorables" - a term that would be very apropos for her own neocon backers.
At this point it's looking like better than even money that Mrs. Clinton will self-destruct as she becomes more irrational, it could be that Trump will trigger her in the upcoming debates causing an ugly - and disqualifying - meltdown in front of a national TV audience. With her mask having been prematurely discarded the American people are getting a very good look at the deranged sociopath whose possession of the nuclear launch codes and vendetta against Putin would be a very volatile combination.
Granted that a Trump presidency would have it's own set of very serious problems but it's saving grace would be that World War III and a potential extinction level event could be avoided. The added bonus would be that with the neocons having abandoned ship on the Republican party, a defeat of Clinton would torpedo their lifeboat and be a triumph for humanity.
