Conclusion:
So in spite of the evidence, public opinion, and
their own intelligence assessments , Israeli leaders may still launch an unprovoked attack on Iran in
the coming days, weeks, or months. American, British ,and Israeli forces are already
believed to be operating covertly in Iran. Four
of Iran's top nuclear scientists have recently been murdered by
unconventional means such as vehicle bombs. One individual, who confessed to
being Mossad trained, has since been convicted and hanged for one of the
murders.
Should America participate in such an attack its actions will be
unconstitutional. Barack Obama, the "peace" president, has demonstrated no
significant willingness to follow the Constitution any more than the previous
war hungry administration and will likely support such an invasion. Without
provocation by Libya or any type of approval from the U.S. Congress, he
initiated over 17,000 bombing runs
that resulted in the deaths of many Libyan men, women, and children in the last year. The U.S. Constitution was designed to
prevent just such reckless actions. Article 1, Section 8 requires Congress to
issue a declaration of war for such actions, and the U.S. Supreme Court has
consistently ruled for 200 years that Congress cannot delegate its authority to
another branch of government. Nevertheless,
expect that the U.S. Constitution will be violated again to invade Iran just as
it was in attacks on Libya and Iraq.
Will History Repeat?
Whenever
discussing the potential Iranian nuclear threat, it is critical to recall the nearly
identical alleged Iraq nuclear threat in 2003. I began documenting lies about
Iraq, such as the Nigerian "yellowcake" acquisition a year in advance of the
invasion. By the time of the invasion on March 19, 2003, I had accumulated
almost 40 different falsehoods that

It is difficult for most American to come to grips with the fact
that the Bush administration lied repeatedly about Iraq possessing weapons of
mass destruction. Some still cling to the false belief that our military was
used for national defense, not international offense. It is harder for Americans
to accept that one of our Presidential administrations would send thousands of
American troops to their death and kill 100,000 or more Iraqi defenders, just
for profitable ventures such as those for former V.P. Cheney's Haliburton Corp.
It is even more difficult to accept the fact that our tax money was used to
kill thousands of Iraqi civilians, and our own sons and daughters died in the
process.

These thoughts serve to destroy our belief system. But if our
belief system is not rooted in reality it must be repaired to penetrate the
rhetoric and reflect real world situations. We must understand the difference between self defense and war
profiteering. Then and only then, we can reign in the American war machine
and convert it to an American peace machine as it was intended to be.
