Mercury Retrograde
This eclipse sets the stage for the third and final Mercury retrograde of the year. Mercury turns retrograde on October 21st at 19* Scorpio. This final Mercury retrograde is also in a water sign, so we need to remember, review and transform how we relate to other people. We are being trained to use our emotional intelligence!
The Sabian symbol for Mercury retrograde at 19*Scorpio is: A parrot repeats the conversation he has overheard. Dane Rudhyar says this symbol suggests the capacity to transmit transcendental knowledge. It symbolizes a mind that is open to Wisdom. Attune to higher Wisdom by listening to the silence.
October 31 is Halloween, All Hallows Eve or Samhain--the seasonal gateway when the veils between the worlds thin out and the dead are honored. Collectively, we need to bury what no longer serves life. Our social systems are not working, but before we can create new paradigms, we need to acknowledge what is dead. When we do it in our own lives, we can see more clearly what is dead in the outer world.
Prepare yourselves to accept death so that new life can grow.
