Hitler studied Bernays; Trump studied Hitler. The invisible government may be domestic,foreign or both. A confused mind, disordered and deprived of sleep, may lump them together.
The end result is bad decisions (choosing war mongers as part of a peace initiative) disorganization, and a firewall against a rational democratic Republic, with educated leaders and informed citizens, as well as the evil that comes from using scapegoats to redirect attention from problems/solutions to a blame game that only leads to hate crimes, persecution, and the rise of fascist politics.
The underlying lesson which unites crude, uneducated leaders with blind followers down the path of fascism is underscored in the Art of War:
"War is the art of deception." Sun Tzu The disordred mind is at war with itself, and may fool itself (and its followers) with the theory that acting recklessly and unpredictably (The Nixon Madman Theory Trump has adopted as "strategy") may be a disguised for what, at root, is simple disorder, disciplined only by the craving for power and adulation.
Rapidly shifting focus, the hallmark of both ADD and camouflaging the truth, is both a victim and a tool of political warfare, the one betraying the supporters, the other enabling the Great Leader to continue to play them for fools.
