President Obama used his executive powers, kicking into action the primed Republican outrage response tonight when he announced his immigration plan. Within minutes of starting the speech, my republican senator had sent out an obviously pre-prepared (is that a word?) email asking for donations because of Obama's action.
The video of his speech is below. And here's a link to the Whitehouse.gov page that is pitching his plan. One has to ask what affect this action would have had if Obama had done it before the 2014 elections.
