Some years ago my wife and I heard an amazing story from a friend who owned some property on Orcas Island in Washington State. She knew a man there who was building a large sailboat in the woods on the top of a mountain on the island. She fascinated us with her story.

I wanted to know how he was going to get it launched after it was finished. She said he didn't know, but was confident it would happen. Years passed, and we'd talk about this fellow and his boat project when we'd meet. Finally she told us the man had passed away, and she had no idea what would happen to the boat.

Maybe I am like him in a way...tilting at windmills like Don Quixote...trying to accomplish something before I go.
