unable to locate the Nevada Caucus results on line.
It seems apparent that the Democratic Caucus results
have disappeared into cyberspace. But Hallelujah for
hard copy print! I have just found the caucus
disparity I mentioned in the Reno Gazette - Journal as
follows:
Sun January 20, 2008 - Front page "Turnout exceeds
expectations, boosts states status - Dems report they
"topped 116,00" for "statewide turnout".
by county listing entitled "By the numbers" See "The
Democrats" whereupon Hillary Clinton is listed with
5,355 delegates, Barack Obama is found with 4,770,
John Edwards 396 and Dennis Kucinich is listed with 5.
A delegate is one who attends the caucus. Add up the
numbers and you see that these numbers do not add up
to 116,000 (more like 10,000+). Also take note that there are no
uncommitted. Then pay special attention to the graphic
footnote that states that the numbers listed do not
reflect the full 100 per cent of Nevada's precincts.
Sun January 20, 2008 - Page 6A entitled "Turnout
magnifies problems at bustling caucus locations" where
Jennifer Crow, spokesperson for the Democratic Party
says that the Dems had "116,000 voters turn out."
All the best and solidarity,
