Yes, I'm back at Oakdale Prison after 49 days of travel. What might have otherwise been a seven hour car trip to court was 49 days of travel, five buses, five vans and three airplanes, over 70 US Marshals and countless numbers of jail and prison correctional officers to shackle, handcuff, chain, "box" and lock me before and after each trip and for court.

Now What? Political supporters who support good schools give to candidates who fund schools.Folks who want to reform health care give to politicians who fix our health care system. That's the basis of free speech in our country, the very foundation of our political system. It's not illegal, it's not bribery, &the Supreme Court agrees that it shouldn't be prosecuted.91 former state Attorneys General said there is no crime in what I did.

Ten Years and Counting f you have been reading these emails, you have learned that I am the victim of political prosecution, a modern and sophisticated means of assasination. But this form of assasination kills not only me and my career, but the democratic system that we have worked together to build. Together we will fight this attack on our American Democracy.

My Upcoming Appeal Hearing on January 19th I believe that the U S Supreme Court vacated the earlier ruling of the 11th Circuit and sent my case back because the USSC [US Supreme Court] wants a different result...that is good news for me. If I do not win ....every governor, every US Member of Congress and Presidents Bush and Obama will be subject to prosecution...

A Closer Look at Justice in the Obama Administration Recently the U S Supreme Court dismissed a case where the Obama Administration took the position that prosecutors who knowingly give false evidence to get a conviction shouldn't be held liable because it might deter a prosecutor from going all out to get a conviction! Do you believe this nonsense? How much more off the moral path does this country have to go before somebody wakes up?

Happy New Year and Thanks from Gov. Don Siegelman Keep up the fight for justice for me, because my battle goes far beyond my own personal benefit. This fight, our fight,is for justice to prevail for everyone in our country who has been wronged by those people who have misused and abused our political and justice systems.I have faith in the American people, and I know that they want to do the right thing. They just need the right information to guide them along their path.

A Startling Proposition : The Department of Justice Finds Itself "Not Guilty"! Please let the President know how you feel about getting rid of the Rove/Bush US Attorney for the Middle District of Alabama and replacing her with an honest and ethical one! This very important, not only to me, but to everyone in our country who sees the absolute necessity of having honest prosecutors!Replace and immediately investigate US Attorney for the Middle District of Alabama,Leura Canary.

Tell Rahm: Remove Biased Prosecutors! It is nonsense to think that the same Bush appointed prosecutors who perpetrated this misconduct will fairly review my charges of misconduct vs them.Contact Rahm and ask him to help ensure that President Obama's,not President Bush/Karl Rove's, prosecutors decide my fate - by immediately removing these biased prosecutors from this case.Contact the Dem Nat'l Chair Gov. Kaine to ask AG Holder to remove these partisan prosecutors.

Let them know Under the 11th Circuit's ruling in "The Siegelman Case," President Obama and contributors who accept appointments could be indicted and convicted of bribery and extortion if President Obama knew at the time they made a contribution that the donor wanted the post to which the President later appointed them.

Tell House Speaker Pelosi and Chairman Conyers to Keep the Heat on Rove! Please call, fax, and/or email House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Chairman John Conyers, Jr. thanking them for standing up to Karl Rove and seeking the truth about Rove's involvement in the Siegelman prosecution and in the firing of the U.S. Attorneys who would not file politically motivated charges.
