Mike Connell, the IT consultant for many White House projects, was the person who took charge of the central computer as it counted votes in Ohio election night 2004. He was about to testify in a lawsuit on just this subject before he died suddenly when his private plane "ran out of gas". Ran out of gas and exploded mid-air in a ball of fire.
