"All Jews Must Die" Yells Attacker as he Shoots Congregants & Police SHARE
As our nation is recovering from the attempted bombing attacks on politicians and high-profie citizens, another domestic terrorist act of violence has been launched.Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania's historic Tree of Life synagogue and its congregants are the latest victims of the violence that continues to plague our nation.Robert Bowers is the believed perpetrator and is in custody.This latest event should serve to elevate the conversation over bigotry and hatred that has been publicly manifested during the last few years.A question we might all ask ourselves is what part does incendiary political rhetoric play not in causing but rather in exacerbating acts of prejudice?Watch as President Trump explains his idea of how to stop incidents such as this from happening. Is he suggesting that we have a society where armed guards are needed everywhere to protect essential liberties?

If you think racism only exists in the deep South, think again. It's in your backyard!!RACISM CONTINUES TO REAR ITS UGLY HEAD.Racism is systemic and manifests in a variety of forms. Some is overt and much is hidden, or acknowledged with a knowing look.If we don't speak up and point out every instance then we should not expect change.What would happen if each of us calls out a "friend" when they make a statement that exhibitis a racists outlook ... particularly when they don't consider themselves racist (and perhaps aren't at the core of their soul?)What happens when a nation elects a leader that refuses to denounce white supremacists who support him? Who doesn't speak out about the alleged murder of a reporter, who condones ripping children from their parents arms and locking them in cages...To paraphrase Martin Luther King Jr., When you tolerate one racist act you tolerate all racism.
