In the middle of the night

Who will answer the phone?

Guess what sucker,

You're on your own.

New Orleans did wash away,

Government says: "We shall rebuild,"

Still a mess,

No one is thrilled.

Tennessee has turned to ash,

People say, "We cannot breath,"

Government says, "Air quality's fine,"

Trust us, no need to leave.

New York bombed,

President standing in the rubble;

"We shall rebuild, on the double."

Eight years later,

President can't be found.

Great big hole

Still In the ground.

Two wars going
Blood for oil;

When will our countrymen

Start to boil?

Treasury robbed,

Ain,t no healthcare;

"We got no money,"

They got some pair.

The American people

Lost all they saved and earned

Washington twittered,

While America burned.
