Inexperienced principals with authoritarian directives threatened with being replaced if they didn’t deliver higher test scores – immediately. Test prep curriculum with plenty of high-stakes testing.The Times, which generally promotes gentrification, avoided proposing any solutions that might alienate its affluent readers."
