Dr. Dispenza has authored New York Times Bestselling books like 'Evolve Your Brain: The Science of Changing Your Mind,' (2007) and 'Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself: How to Lose Your Mind and Create a New One,' (2012). Both of these publications are about the neuroscience of change as well as epigenetics.

In 1986, at age 23, Dr. Joe got hit by a vehicle while riding his bike in a triathelon. The impact broke six vertebrae and resulted in other severe spinal injuries: he faced the possibility of quadriplegia. He was offered invasive surgery with a slim chance of a good outcome.

He knew there had to be a better way. He turned down the surgery and he began healing himself using mind-body healing techniques and intensive meditation. After just 12 weeks, to his doctors' shock, he was walking, back to his chiropractic office, and training on his bike again. Now he shares these techniques in his workshops and books.
