The purpose of the Louisiana Environmental Action Network (LEAN) is to foster cooperation and communication between individual citizens and corporate and government organizations in an effort to assess and mend the environmental problems in Louisiana. LEAN's goal is the creation and maintenance of a cleaner and healthier environment for all of the inhabitants of this state.
Anita Stewart, the host of the Wise Women Media Radio Show on the Here Be Monsters Network lives near Tampa and is a licensed medical professional, a long time activist and elected to the Hillsborough County Soil and Water Board. She has been advocating for the people of the Gulf Region regarding the health impact, human rights and justice in the aftermath of the BP Oil Spill disaster since 2010.
