Who
reading this blog has not worried about the security of her/his own computer? How
many firewalls and other security systems do we use to prevent hacking? Online
voting is definitely not the way to go. As bad as the rigging in Defiance, Ohio was, internet
voting far surpasses Defiance
with dangers of election fraud. Internet hackings in six banks in 2012 -- Bank
of America, JPMorgan Chase, Citigroup, U.S. Bank, Wells Fargo and PNC --
should send shivers down everyone's spine. Internet hackings have also been
reported at Living Social, Google, Lockheed Martin, Visa, Sony, Nasdaq, Charles
Schwab, MasterCard, CIA, FBI, The Pentagon, Symantec, Adobe, Yahoo, and the AP
twitter account. We must work and organize against internet voting.
Democracy
takes and needs time - like love, family, children, friendships, animal
companions and all other important relationships and people in our lives.
