So I’ve always felt there was a side of the war on terror where the people at the top of the game on both sides of the battlefield are playing the rest of us in the middle for fools. When I saw the second plan hit the other tower, I came out of my chair cursing Bush and his oil industry cronies at the top of my lungs. And it wasn’t just the timing of the attack that came just hours before my story about MTBE causing drought and flooding being followed by earthquakes might have come out that gave me concerns. It was how a jetliner had been able to bank the extreme turn it made before flying directly into its intended target.
I figured from the beginning that the planes had been flown by remote control or a computer. And I wouldn’t be the first person to suggest this was the case. But I’m the only one who is asking this question –
Where are the people jumping off the buildings?
The reason no one else has ever asked it is because all the other conspiracy theorists prop their claims up around Bush being a murderer. But I don’t really have a theory. All I’m saying is that when 911 happened, I felt that what I had worked so hard to expose about MTBE’s effects on weather patterns had been too conveniently erased from public concern when the war on terror began. And in the heat of the moment, I questioned whether those planes could have been flown by human beings and still hit their target. Then I forgot about it when I saw the buildings coming down.
That’s when I became like everyone else even to the point of supporting Bush in his efforts to secure us from future terrorists attacks even though I had my doubts about what happened. I mean I don’t really have a theory, just a question. And I admit it is a strange one. But even as I watched the buildings burn from live video feeds on differing stations as I channel surfed trying to see where else we were getting attacked, as I heard reports about people falling or jumping off the World Trade Centers in order to live for those last few moments during the fall, I looked to try to see them but they just weren’t there.
Where did the falling bodies go?
For the following months as we all saw the horror of 911 replayed over and over while we built up political momentum to go to war in Afghanistan, I never once could see the faintest hint of a falling body. Everyone I brought it up to said they were edited out for the families. But that never made any sense to me. If it was my loved one and we were getting ready to fight a war so an attack like that never happened again while a lot of Americans were against the war, I would have demanded that those images be shown.
I mean rather then replaying clips of the buildings falling over and over thousands of times a day, why not just play close-ups of the people jumping to their deaths a few times so insure we had a 100 percent support for the war. And if reasonable arguments could be made why this should not be done, where was the debate over it. Where is the story of how they were able to technically accomplish erasing the jumpers from live streaming video when the building was still on fire before they came crashing to the ground. I was watching and looking for the bodies falling but couldn’t see them. In fact where is the story about how and why we’ve never been shown these images when thousands of cameras were taping it happen.
What am I suggesting?
The truth is I’m just asking this question. I don’t know what it suggests. I’ve heard it said and taken very seriously by a lot of people that the planes were empty and flown by remote control. I’ve never hard it questioned whether the buildings were empty too. I don’t think I am suggesting this to be the case because it doesn’t make any sense. But that is the conclusion a reasonable person would have to come to when viewing the evidence. Otherwise, where are the falling bodies or the stories about why we’ve never seen them. It doesn’t add up.
The way Bush is running this country, the way liberals and conservatives are leading us, nothing makes sense anymore without reading between the lines. It never made sense to me that liberals wanted to create an unquestionable political atmosphere that suited their agenda using political correctness in the 1980’s. If they had something worthy of support, they came to the right country to try it out in. But they wanted to brainwash us into accepting their platform where no one could point out that the pieces to the puzzle they envisioned didn’t fit together the way they claimed. Now we’re getting the same thing from Republicans while Democrats haven’t changed their position. So now they both want us to accept their plans for the future as the right way to go based on a sense of faith in government rather than them putting together something clear and coherent that will work even if we question it.
I can dig that we’re safe, that nothing has happened on our soil since 911. But there are a lot of serious questions that get dismissed out of hand about what the war on terror is really all about. It's like we’re either judged as patriotic Americans or a socialist liberals. It's just like how it was with the liberals of the 1990's where there was no debating them because they were all about rhetoric while facts or differing views were not allowed. They had no interests in discussion that reached conclusions that were not already embedded in their way of thinking. That’s the way conservatives are now. And that doesn't make Democrats right over conservatives either. It just means both sides are entrenched so deeply in politics that reality is irrelevant.
If conservatives believe it's ludicrous to think there’s anything behind the war on terror other than our fighting the good fight against evil, then they should be able to address facts that lead a lot of intelligent reasoning nonpartisan Americans to wonder about the veracity of the 911 attacks and the high cost of gasoline. But all I see is a discussion about the meaning of true patriotism as compared to being anti American for not believing what the government says.
Being anti-government is not being anti-American
This country was founded on an anti-government platform under a Constitution that gave us the right to lead ourselves. But we’ve hired ourselves to run the government so now we think that anyone who doesn't believe the government is not a true American. And it is so-called conservatives who are leading this anti-Constitutional revolution. First it was liberals, now it’s conservatives. And they both have everyone taking sides against each other leading us away from what made us a great and free nation in the first place.
It’s easy to sit in a bubble and make comments about the reflection you see of yourself in others who are in there with you. It's also stale and boring. But everyone seems to love being part of a compartmentalized genre or group where individualism is suppressed to become a member. It's easy to pick up what others say and repeat it as if you believe it thus being initiated into becoming a valued member of society rather than seeking out how to find a way to express how unique we all are whether anyone likes it or not.
