On November 7th, Neptune retrograde opposes Mars at 29* Leo on the royal fixed star Regulus. Mars is the last planet, other than the Moon, that Neptune aspects before it turns direct - which makes it extra potent. The Sabian symbol for 29*Leo is: A Mermaid emerges from the ocean waves ready for rebirth in human form -- the stage at which an intense feeling-intuition rising from the unconscious is about to take form as a conscious thought or action. With Mars, our desire energy, focused on bringing this mermaid up from the depths, we can see how these two images work together -- the new patterns that the butterfly brings us are the result of this new ideal arising from the unconscious. During this aspect we can feel tired or be energized by our vision; we can be scattered and unfocused or use our imaginations to "make it so'. Become a spiritual Warrior and defend all of Life!
November 10: Hours after the full Moon, Mars moves into Virgo, creating a grand trine flow of earth energy between itself, Pluto in Capricorn and Jupiter in Taurus that lasts through November and creates opportunities for us to resolve issues with innovation and vision. Grand trines in earth are good for manifesting.
I can't end this Cosmic Story without mentioning that the day after this full Moon is November 11, 2011 -- 11/11/11. Whatever you believe or don't believe about November 11th, the symbolism is this: 11 is a master number (as all doubled numbers are) -- and calls us to finding the Master within. 3 is the number of process, and so with 11/11/11 we experience the process of incarnating our own inner Master, our quintessence, our spiritual identity. What a wonderful task for any lifetime!
