I am a professional in the computer field whose specialty is databases. I grew up, went to school in, and lived in New York for many years. I have lived in Florida for twenty years now, and it is a wonderful place to see and experience nature. I am a liberal, and though sometimes both left and right use that term perjoratively these days, I think it's time for liberals to stand up and take pride in what they ar.

Commentary - America's Greek Chorus

The people's mic makes the members of Occupy meetings seem like a Greek chorus. The Declaration of Occupation is a call for accountability in an age of non-accountability, and its grievances can be compared both to the U.S. Declaration of Independence, and to the final lines of the chorus in the Greek tragedies. We might do well to listen to our modern Greek chorus.
