Barbara G. Ellis, Ph.D., is the principal of a Portland (OR) writing/pr firm and a professional writer. A long-time journalist (LIFE magazine, Washington, D.C. Evening Star, Beirut Daily Star), she was a journalism professor at (Oregon State University/Louisiana's McNeese State University).
