Given the spectacular accomplishments and economies of democrats, recently and in the past, Democrats should be winning elections by wide margins. Yet they are squeaking out wins of only a few percentage points. How is this possible? The problem is that the Democrat leadership is a failure at building its public image. Also, their election strategies are not as effective as Republican strategies.
INFORMATION POLICIES
The Big Lie
Polls show that most Republicans are convinced that the 2020 election was rigged and stolen. They are outraged that Biden is president even though supposedly "he lost the election". This is one of the reasons, that many voters distrust Democrats. Amazingly, Democrats have done little to rebut this big lie. Irrefutable proof exists that the election could not have been stolen.
Democrats could debunk the stolen election accusation by pointing out 2 simple facts:
1. The Fox News and Republican polls, along with 150 other polls accurately predicted the final vote tally for Biden of 51%. It is impossible to predict the final results of an election if there had been fraudulent activity.
2. The election deniers have no proof that the alleged fraud favored Biden and not Trump. Republicans automatically assume, without evidence, that any alleged fraud must have favored Biden.
Democrats will continue to make the mistake of dismissing the belief in a stollen election as not important.
Abortion
The position of the anti-abortion community is that life begins at conception. They demand an end to all abortions including birth control pills, morning after pills and even IVF procedures. They believe that a single fertilized ovum cell has all the rights and protections of a developed human.
The anti-abortion people are unaware of the fact that only 50% of conceptions survive past the first day or two. The zygotes need to attach to the wall of the uterus to continue to develop. But like everything in nature, this is not a certainty. They often, within a few days, get washed out to oblivion. In this way billions of fertilized ovums are lost every day without any medical intervention. This raises the question of whether all these lost zygotes are in fact viable human beings. Religious people believe in life-after-death. What does life-after-death mean for all these single-celled "humans" that never had any existence? The anti-abortion people have no answer for this dilemma. The only sensible logical answer is that these billions of lost zygotes are not humans in any way. This negates their beliefs that life starts at conception. This should be part of the abortion debate, but it is never even mentioned.
Mass Murders
The US has hundreds of times more gun killings than any other advanced country. Everyone on the planet is shocked at the weekly gun killings in the US. They wonder why Republicans refuse to do anything about the problem. This subject is ignored even though most Americans want something to be done. Democrats need to inform the public of the horror of this situation and why nothing is being done. If Democrats properly made this a campaign issue, they would get a lot of support from voters. For the public to have a complete understanding of the mass shootings problem, Democrats must do two things.
1 Voters have to understand that as long as they vote for Republicans, the gun massacres will go on forever.
2 Voters need to see the pictures of children's dead bodies torn into bloody body parts by military machine guns.
Democrats need to stop blaming congress for all the gun murders and start blaming Republicans.
Liberal Accomplishments and the Economy
Liberals have an extensive record in of changing the old world of kingdoms to ubiquitous democracy1. This should be common knowledge among voters, but Republicans have convinced their followers that liberals are something other than what they really are. Democrats have done nothing to inform the public of all their accomplishments that have created the world we have today. This strategy of not informing voters of their many major accomplishments is a mistake.

Republicans claim they are better at managing the economy. But historical economic metrics clearly show that the economy has always done better under Democrats. GDP, jobs, stock markets, incomes, profits, and unemployment have always done better under Democrats. Ten of the last eleven recessions occurred under Republicans. Republicans are told that Biden caused inflation. They are never told that every country has inflation and that currently the US inflation of 3.1% is the lowest in the world. It is the responsibility of Democrats to educate the public on these things, but they never do. Not informing voters of the truth about inflation and their successful economies is a mistake.
ELECTIONS
2016 Election
Voters want a leader who is knowledgeable, articulate, fearlessly outspoken and most important, has charisma and credibility. Examples of this are Jack Kennedy, Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton, and Barack Obama. Hillary Clinton is highly qualified and experienced. But she was always on defense and never on offense. She barely won the popular vote. A main reason Hillary lost the election was that she did not have the image of a powerful, credible leader. Also she did not expose Trump's many lies. Hillary thought she did not have to fight back against Trump's lies and slanderous personal attacks. A more aggressive candidate would have won in a landslide. Allowing Hillary to run for office was a mistake by Democrats that gave us three new conservative Supreme Court justices.
2024 Election
Joe Biden has been an accomplished and popular leader for decades. But today, there are several Democrats who would make a better candidate than Biden. Senator Cory Booker, Governor Andy Beshear, Governor Gavin Newsom and others would have a better chance of getting elected than Biden. But Democrats do not seem to understand this and will nominate Biden anyway. If Democrats lose the next election, it is their own fault. Furthermore, Kamala Harris is not the strongest person to run as Vice President. Voters will not support Biden because they don't want her to be Vice President.
PUBLIC IMAGE
Most people think that the reason Trump is leading Biden in the polls is that Biden does not have the vitality and vigor necessary to be a strong leader. The fact that the Biden has a successful and effective administration with a lengthy list of accomplishments is unknown to the general population. The reason people do not like Democrats, is that voters have been given false public image of Democrats. Democrats appear to be unaware of how serious this problem is. The far-right media has convinced about 30% of voters that Democrats are communist who hate America and want to destroy freedom and democracy. They have been told that Democrats run child sex trafficking rings, that they drink the blood of infants, that they rigged the Super Bowl for political reasons, that they will force your children to be homosexuals, they encourage people to be criminals, and so on.
The primary mission of the Republican media is to cultivate extreme illogical hatred of Democrats. Republicans have been successful in reaching this goal. Democrats have spent little effort in informing voters of who they really are which is critical in the world of politics.
