The four countries of Ukraine, U.K, Germany and Sweden are having a problem with Iran in the united nation about Iran refusing to pay reparations for shooting down the Ukrainian passenger jet in January 2020 that killed all 176 passengers and crew on board.

According to the associated press the four countries received an "an unequivocal response "from Iranian government that they do not want to participate in negotiations regarding the incident with those countries who have joined together to compensate the victims of explosion and crash of the plane.

This terrible story began with Trump ordering the assassination of Iranian General Ghasem Soleimani. After the assassination and the rituals of seven days of highly publicized mourning all over Iran for the general. The Iranian government who had promised a "severe revenge", blasted the large Al Assad military compound in eastern Iraq which contained many American troops. However, they had let the information to be leaked out on the morning of that day about their intentions of soon coming missiles to avoid significant casualties.

Sometime during the night, Iran launched a bunch of powerful missiles towards the compound. The American military intelligence informed the expecting commanders of the troops about the lunch of the missiles. That information gave the time for American troops to go into safe siloes and avoided casualties. The Explosions caused several American troops to suffer closed head injuries, causing headache and hospitalization of a few soldiers for a few days.

Meanwhile, Iran had not closed down its airports to commercial passenger planes that night. There were about ten flights from Tehran's main civilian airport. The last plane which was a Ukrainian Boeing 737-800 carrying 176 passengers including more than seventy Iranian civilians was shot down by the Iranian revolutionary guards corp. Someone had taken a video tape of the flight and the lunch of the two Russian made Iranian missiles towards the plane causing fire, explosion and the crash.

Initially Iranian media reported the crash of a plane due to mechanical failure. However, eventually they admitted the truth but blamed it on a regretful jittery gunner who had mistook the passenger plane for an American cruise missile. Since this incident was obviously a set up gone array, there were complaints from every corner of the world and demonstration in Tehran about the murdering Iranian passengers.

Meanwhile, Iran cleaned up the crash site and took all of the pieces of the evidence away including the black box of the plane, and since then has come up with all kinds of excuses to give the black box to Ukraine or anyone else.

Currently, the four countries in the UN are contemplating paying about $150,000 to each family and demand that that Iran pays its fair share of the compensations. However, Iran is refusing to even participate in negotiation let alone paying any thing. The complaint has been submitted to the U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres
