Why Post 9/11 Afghanistan is Berlin of the Cold War? I'm submitting this Op-Ed piece for publication in OhMyGov on the 20th anniversary of the fall of communism in Europe. So I'm sharing my analysis of "Why Post 9/11 Afghanistan is the Berlin of the Cold War? Given the anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall is in a few days and intensified global coverage of Afghanistan, I thought about writing an opinion piece linking the rationale for US, NATO, and UN intervention in Afg.
