Tech-oriented young Americans, according to Chris McGreal's article in The Guardian, think that Elon Musk is okay. He's the world's wealthiest human being and, as such, Musk is the man. In the tech industry, writes McGreal, "a significant proportion of young male software engineers of the kind who tend to worship tech billionaires like Musk," think Musk should be "running the country".
These young tech engineers have no interest in sustaining diversity, equity, and inclusion. They have no interest in sustaining resistance literature. What is resistance to them? From their view of the telescreen, they would be fine if Musk expanded DOGE's operation-- to include them! Do you think they see grandparents worried about social security checks?
Remember the children in 1984 trained to report on family and neighbors? You can just see an appealing Musk and his Nazi salute!
As McGreal writes, "no one thinks that, so long as Trump continues to regard the billionaire as more of an asset than a liability, Musk's thirst for power will stop at gutting federal agencies".
Just being aware of the lie isn't enough. There are Americans actively engaged in concealing the truth about the lie. Or should I phrase it this way: there are Americans working with Putin and Musk against other Americans!
We are being watched for a reason, and we didn't need an Elon Musk, all the way from South Africa, to tell us that!
