In my fight against the American Nuclear Society (ANS) cover-up of nuclear power plant explosion dangers, the ANS refuses to acknowledge any dissenting opinions to improve nuclear power plant explosion safety to prevent death and protect our environment. There is something grossly wrong when we stand by and just wait for the next nuclear power plant explosion.
In their most recent flagrant act of censorship, the ANS stopped another publication that would have further discussed and improved nuclear safety and nuclear plant explosion prevention. At the recommendation of the past Chair of the ANS, I submitted a proposed article to the Winter Conference of ANS, where competent work was previously refused by the Annual Conference. The title of my submission for the Winter Conference was "A Fight for Reactor Safety - Nuclear Power Plant Explosions".
If the article had been accepted, I would have further accused the ANS of their cover-up of nuclear power plant explosions, and their dishonest responses to my previous requests to publish through the ANS. I requested the opportunity to present a dissenting opinion at the Winter Conference, where my primary goal is to protect lives and the environment from the next major nuclear power plant explosion before 2039, where such an explosion will be comparable to Three Mile Island or Fukushima. Another goal is to stop ongoing smaller nuclear power plant explosions.
As expected, the ANS did not even respond to my submission. The ANS risks our lives to protect profits in the nuclear power industry. The ANS selects nuclear power plant explosions over explosion prevention. This latest ANS effort to crush nuclear safety is consistent with my earlier publications, which are partially quoted below.
By making false claims, the ANS endorses and covers up explosions at nuclear power plants. The editors of the ANS Nuclear News made false statements to enforce this cover up, and the President of the ANS endorsed this cover-up by quoting those false claims. This week, the ANS refused to even allow public discussion of this important nuclear safety information at the annual ANS technical conference.
A Fight With The ANS
I have been in a long-standing fight with the ANS, where I repeatedly requested that the ANS reprint any one of this series of Op Ed News articles. The ANS refused to publish any nuclear safety research findings. The editors of ANS Nuclear News made false technical claims in their responses. The ANS also claimed that my work is invalid, since there are no other publications to support my research. My response to this claim was that there are no other researchers yet, since I invented the new theory. According to their claim, new research cannot be published at all since it is not already published. Doesn't such a claim seem ridiculous?
In short, the ANS did not provide a single, technically correct, rebuttal to this new theory. The ANS just does not like the facts that the nuclear industry is operating unsafely.
I have accused, and still accuse, the nuclear industry of covering up explosions in nuclear power plants. Such explosions endanger lives and the environment. Nuclear regulators and the ANS thwart nuclear power plant explosion safety ("Nuclear Threats - Part 5 - An Incoming Nuclear Plant Explosion Disaster- Zaporizhzhia Near Missed This Next Disaster", "The U.S. NRC Still Fails to Protect Us Against Nuclear Power Plant Explosions Like Fukushima", The Ukraine Nuclear Scare - The IAEA Endangered Europe and Russia).
Explosions can be prevented, yet those who influence nuclear industry safety fail to act ("You Can Stop an Explosive Nuclear Disaster: A Message to Nuclear Power Reactor Operators").'
A copy of this Op Ed was forwarded to the ANS with a request for comment. Given the ANS cover-up of nuclear power plant explosions, a response was not expected, and was not received. ANS censorship that supports industry and government explosion cover-ups will cost lives. However, the ANS is absolutely willing to pay the price with our lives.
Addendum
Today, 8/14/2023, I spoke with a software representative about another possible $20,000 to $30,000 in personal investments to further this research. My wife asked if I realized how crazy I sounded to tell a merchant that I was performing voluntary research to support our government. My answer was that I may seem crazy for pursuing this research on my own, but I am not trying to help the government, who is killing people through cover-ups. I am trying to help the families who will suffer their family members deaths unnecessarily. I also told that merchant that if we work together, that merchant can help stop people from dying.
Perhaps I will lose this fight against the ANS and the nuclear industry. However, fighting for the right to save lives is worth this fight, whether or not the deaths are stopped. I may lose this fight, but the real losers will be those people who die.
